TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Avenue And Boulevard PTY LTD Treading As "Avenue And Boulevard Blinds"
1. The confirmation of order and Installation Date can only happen once the 50% Deposit has been received.
2. Balance to be paid in full the day before installation.
3. The customers signature acknowledges the terms and conditions of sale on the Tax Invoice.
4. Quotations are valid for 30 Days only. If price increases occur during these 30 days, the revised quote will reflect the new pricing.
5.Until all products are paid for in full, they are the legal property of Avenue And Boulevard Pty Ltd. By agreeing to purchase from Avenue And Boulevard Pty Ltd, you cannot stop an appointed representative of entering any property to recover any / all products until paid for in full.
6. All warranty is void and cancelled to clients that do not pay for any / all products as per Avenue And Boulevard Pty Ltd requests.
7. Any promotion with an expiry date will not be honored after that date.
8. $50 Discount Price Matching other companies with identical products will be acceptable. a) But the competitor must not be of a sole trader i.e Backyard Operator. Note: Avenue And Boulevard Pty Ltd is a professionally trained and registered company. b) The Competitor must provide a written quote on a company letterhead with ABN and contact details. c) Products must be like for like.
9. Block Out Roller Blinds generally are installed on the face of architraves to windows.
10. Day Blinds or E-Screens are generally installed in the recess of windows. (Note: traditional timber windows generally can not do this due to the thickness of the window frame.) Double Brackets can be used in this situation to hold the Day Blind and the Block Out Roller Blinds.
11. Blinds that meet in a corner or a butt to butt will have gaps in between them.
12. Blinds fitting inside a window or recess will have small gaps to the top and sides.
13. Roman Blinds are generally installed 200mm or 20cm above the top of the window architrave. Due to the amount of fabric that builds up when you raise a Roman Blind.
14. Translucent or Day Blinds are not able to provide total privacy.
15. It is the clients responsibility to move all furniture out of the way and take down all old blinds, before the installation of new blinds. Otherwise Avenue And Boulevard Pty Ltd will charge accordingly.
16. All products are custom made: therefore no item is returnable or refundable.
WARRANTY
1. Five Year Warranty is for all indoor products in a Residential Home. Which is the residency of the purchaser.
2. Excessive Force will result in parts and components in the blinds to brake / malfunction. All products have been tested to last for many years with normal and fair use. Broken components / parts that are deemed to be the result of excessive force will not be covered by Avenue And Boulevard Pty Ltd Warranty.
3. Any product installed in a Commercial / Industrial setting will be covered for 12 months only.
4. All products installed outdoors on a residential home will be covered for 2 years.
5. Cleaning and dusting of your blinds on a regular basis is expected of each client. Failure to do so will reduce the life and expectancy of the product.
6. Curtain tracks should be lubricated approximately every 24 months, with silicon spray. This will help them glide smoother. This is the client's responsibility or Avenue And Boulevard Pty Ltd can provide a service call at $120.00 plus GST.
7. Child Safety Clips are installed with the current legislation guidelines. All care but no responsibility is taken for holes made into walls, architraves, skirting etc when we install any product.
8. Control Cords and Chains have a 12 Month Warranty only.
9. Samples of and fabrics / product may vary slightly from the finished product(s). Small imperfections might occur in any fabric.
10. Clients that delay the installation of any product more than eight weeks will be charged a storage fee of $4.00 per blind and $9.00 per curtain / shutter, plus GST.
11. If a service call is requested and it is deemed the fault of the owner (i.e. Excessive force) there will be a fee payable of $120.00 plus GST.
12. It is the clients' responsibility that all architraves, windows, wall linings, etc are installed as per the Australian Building Code and Australian Standards. Otherwise the product could fall down and this will not be the responsibility of Avenue And Boulevard Pty Ltd.
13. Any product to be serviced must be clean and free of any bacteria.
14. Wrinkles or lines in fabrics can take 3 weeks to 3 months to settle. Please leave Blinds in fully down position each evening for the first month to straighten out any product as a minimum.
15. Outdoor products must be in the closed or up position during windy weather (i.e. 30+km per hour winds.)
16. Wet products are to be left in the down position until dry. Only then close or roll up dry blinds.
17. Blinds that have been left rolled up for very long periods of time will be difficult to open at first. Regular use will keep them in an easy operational mode.
18. Products close to salt-water locations and / or wet areas, parts may corrode and is not covered by Avenue And Boulevard Pty Ltd Warranty.
19. Avenue and Boulevard Pty Ltd Warranty will not cover any product with a blemish or imperfection that is not visible with the naked eye from a distance of 1.8m and reported later than 60 days after installation.
20. Avenue And Boulevard Pty Ltd Warranty does not cover any product that shrinks or expands due to weather conditions.
21. Avenue And Boulevard Pty Ltd Warranty will not cover any fraying of any material installed more than 60 days.
22. Windows / buildings older than 5 years old are prone to uneven settlement issues. This may result in windows not been square and / or level any longer. Our products will be installed to the best of our abilities.
23. Avenue And Boulevard Pty Ltd will cancel and / or void any parts of the warranty if the client is difficult to deal with.
24. Avenue And Boulevard Pty Ltd can change any or all aspects of the Warranty and Terms and Conditions at any date without notifying current or past clients.
